Malay Heritage Centre

Some weeks ago, I visited the Malay Heritage Centre. I like the landscape architecture of this place. The moment I stepped into its compounds, I felt as if I was transported to a tropical land where the pace of life is relatively unhurriedly and is peaceful.

The exhibits gave me some insights to the culture of the Malay in Singapore. I remember also reading about the history of Kampong Glam, the locality where this centre is situated, while I was at the centre. I was actually expecting to see a little more at the centre. Nevertheless, the trip to Kampong Glam was well-spent.

Situated nearby the Malay Heritage Centre is Sultan Mosque. Below is a glimpse of the mosque.
