6 Aug 05: At Stonehaven

Let the photos tell the story of my journey. Stonehaven is a beautiful place to be in.

Stonehaven Town Hall. This was where we had performed.

5 Aug 05: Huntly

After the visit to the whisky distillery, we took the train to Huntly. From the Huntly railway station, we took a 20-minutes walk to the Huntly Castle. Here are photos taken at Huntly.

Somehow, the sight of this seems to ease one's nerves.

On the way to the Huntly Castle. I like the way that this pathway looks.

Behind the foliage, the Huntly Castle.
I dedicate this photo and the next photo to Goldilocks. Have a feeling that she may like these?

If you squint your eyes hard enough, you might be able to read the fine prints on the plaque.

Huntly Castle. Somehow these images make me feel as if I have travelled back in time to centuries ago.

5 Aug 05: At Keith

We took a train from Aberdeen to Keith, and visited this whisky distillery, the Strathisla Distillery. In this post, you will find photos that were taken at Keith.

Taken at Keith railway station.

This reminds me of Crazy Cat's new green colour blog-skin. I dedicate this to her. Hope she finds good company at her new company, just like this plant seems to have.

This was the path that we took to get to the whisky distillery from the train station.

We saw roses along the way.

Yeah! We reached the distillery.

Inside the distillery, at the lobby. Waiting for the guided tour to start.

5 Aug 05: Sightings on the train part 2

Another railway station. This station is likely to be near a more populated town, hence the station is comparatively larger than the one you see earlier.

***

Would you wonder: How is it like to peer through the window of the train?

***

I like the way the clouds look in this picture. What do you folks call that man-made structure in the picture?

***

Capturing the rainy-looking weather of Scotland.

***

Sheeps. I am thinking of this song that goes: "Baa Baa Black Sheep...", but there isn't any black sheep!

***

What should these be call? Haystacks?

You bet I am not someone who knows my terms well.

5 Aug 05: Sightings on the train

As you would have read from one of my posts, I was travelling northwards to Keith and Huntly on 5 Aug 2005. Taking the train is lovely. It gives one the chance to see the landscapes. I love the sceneries up north.

One of the railway stations along the way.

Enjoying the fleeting clouds.

Near Dyce station. The airport is located nearby Dyce station.

***

This somehow reminds me of one of Vincent Van Gogh's paintings. Does this do the same thing to you?

***

*Breathing deeply*, Ah, the green and open landscape. I love it.

***

This is something I won't get to see often in Singapore.

I like the skies and the clouds on this photo. I have a feeling that pinkie may like it. Here, I dedicate this photo to her. Enjoy this, pinkie. Hope it helps you to feel relaxed and peaceful.
